Canoff is an innovative game that was first conceived and played by a group of friends during a summer break back in 2010. Since then, Canoff has undergone several prototypes to become your new favourite game to enjoy with friends and family! The game stands out because it doesn't require as much space as many other outdoor games. The Rules
What distinguishes Canoff from many other outdoor games is its simplicity, allowing you to jump right into a game and start having fun immediately. The rules are straightforward!
The game is ideal for two or more players divided into two teams. The objective is to reach ten points. The Canoff poles are placed on their bases with a can on top, set six to ten meters apart. Using the Canoff throwing disc in one hand while keeping the other behind their back, teams take turns trying to knock the opposing team's can off by either hitting it directly or striking the pole so the can falls. Knocking the can off directly earns two points, while knocking it off via a pole strike earns one point. The opposing team can gain one point if they catch the can before it hits the ground, and if you accidentally knock your own can off, you lose a point.
Depending on the group you’re playing with, you can establish individual penalties for a poor throw or missed catch, such as a press-up or a drink—you decide! The team that first reaches ten points wins, with the losing team having to face a penalty. The rules are easy to grasp, and games can range from family-friendly to competitive party games with friends, making it a must-have this summer.
