Vans Shop Riot

When: 5th August

Where:Unit B, Rhymney River Bridge Rd, Cardiff CF23 9AF

How long: Doors open at 11AM and start at 1PM

What's happening:

Twenty different shops from across the UK compete in the indoor skatepark arena. Some intensely competitive sessions will be happening, and the winning shop team will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to the European finals.

 

 

Scoot GB Welsh Qualifiers

When: 5th August

Girls, Gays and Theys Night at Creation

When: 6th August

All wheels, skill levels, and marginalized genders are welcome.

 

 

Backyard Jam BMX Freestyle National Series 2023 Round 4

When: 12th August

Where: Unit 23, 45-50 Castlegreen Street, The Old Bond, Dumbarton, G82 1JD

Concrete Chaos

When: 12th August

Where:Concrete Waves, Newquay TR7 2LZ

How long: All Day

What's happening:

Prize fund of £3600 with an additional £500 for the best trick

It's a busy day for 23, featuring men's and women's competitions, a masters, a youth jam presented by Birdhouse Skateboards and supported by TR7Skate, along with many brand-supported jams.

 

 

Nox Arbo Jam

When: 13th August

Where: The Bo, Walsall Arboretum, WS1 2Q

How long: All Day

What's happening: 

Skate Jam, drinks, snacks, impressive tricks, and a great time with the team guaranteed.

Everyone is welcome. Whether experienced or a beginner, bring your grandmother, and we'll teach her how to drop in.

I can’t stop thinking about you event

What's happening: 

An exhibition of unpublished photos capturing Birmingham skating from the 90s and 00s by Wig Worland and Kris Ludford, featuring impressive visual artwork by local skateboarders. Birmingham Skate Spaces will showcase the development of our cherished Bournbrook DIY. Jamie’s Casino Skateboards will be present, and we’ll screen a collection of Birmingham skate videos, including This is Birmingham and the second film from Silhouette. Once again, we are fortunate to present Zippy’s remarkable sticker collection.
