Master Skateboard Tricks in Under 1 Minute - Nollie Frontside Pop Shuvit - SkateHut

This trick is a mirrored version of a Frontside Pop Shove-it, but the difference is that you begin from a nollie stance.

STEP 1: Ride in a nollie stance. Position your front foot on the nose, with the toe of your back foot slightly hanging over.

STEP 2: Push down with your front leg and spin the board in a shove-it style.

STEP 3: Once the board completes a 180-degree spin, catch it and land.

Top Three Skateboard Tricks

Pop Shuv it Tail grab

DIFFICULTY: Medium

*Before attempting this trick, ensure you have regular Pop Shoves down pat.

FOOT POSITIONING: Place your front foot slightly lower on the boardSkateboard Deckthan in your usual pop shove position to gain more pop.

STEP 1: As you prepare to pop your tail, keep your hand above the tail, ensuring it is low for an easier grab.

STEP 2: When you pop your tail, your hand should be near the tail, requiring only a slight dip to grab it.

Switch front foot impossible

DIFFICULTY: Hard

*Before attempting this trick, I suggest learning an Impossible first.

FOOT POSITIONING: Begin in a switch stance with your back foot at the edge of the nose, pointing the toe backward, while your front foot is positioned over the front bolts. Keeping your front foot closer to the tail assists the impossible motion.

STEP 1: You need to pop the board, so start by scooping in a front-side motion. This helps to initiate the spin.

STEP 2: As the board already has momentum in the front-side direction and the back foot has done much of the work, your front foot only needs a gentle flick to maintain the motion and ensure the board sticks to the bottom of your foot. (If done correctly, you should feel the board wrap around the inside and top of your front foot.)

STEP 3: Now, simply plant your foot down and bring your back foot back onto the board to roll away smoothly.

Nollie 360 Pop Shuv-it

DIFFICULTY: Medium

*Ensure you have mastered your nollie shuvits

FOOT POSITIONING: Ride in a nollie stance, positioning your front foot slightly towards the toeside of the nose.

STEP 1: Begin riding nollie, crouching slightly as you prepare to shove the board. This allows you to apply some pressure on the toeside of the nose. Shove the board mainly with your front foot and provide some guidance with your back foot.

STEP 2: Allow the board enough space to complete the 360-degree rotation.

STEP 3: Catch the board with both feet to land.
