Who is Streetwise?
Streetwiseconsist of a local group featuring three key riders: Harry Brigden, Karson Crane, and Josh Shaw. Along with a wider circle of friends, they started recording videos at their neighbourhood skate park, Ise Lodge.
Over the years, the core team has expanded to include 8 members,Harry Brigden, Karson Crane, Josh Shaw, Ollie Myers, Taylor Barden, Lewis Oram, Jamie Weir and Brandon Joseph.
As time progressed, Harry expanded his reach by filming videos of street jams and events for the broader community, establishing himself as a crucial figure by capturing some of the top Jam videos. Their most well-known videos includeLondon Street Jam 2022 and Happy Together.
While many members concentrate on street riding, this year they're eager to push their limits further. They plan to expand their activities by joining more jams and are even contemplating entering competitions. The goal is to enhance their street skills while also evaluating their abilities in both competitive and collaborative environments.
Milton Keynes Ride Day
Although the event was set up like a jam, it was actually a ride day without any sponsors. The streetwise community came together from different regions of the UK to spend the day united by their love for scooter riding. As members are spread across the UK, they often go several months without meeting, making this day a special occasion for them to reconnect and capture content.
This day was particularly notable as we had a significant announcement to share:Streetwise is now sponsored by SkateHut. We gathered the group and made the announcement with about 30 members in attendance.
In addition to the sponsorship announcement, SkateHut introduced a scooter board, which is a hybrid of a scooter and a skateboard. Essentially, it is a scooter with skateboard trucks underneath. The challenge lies in the fact that although it has handlebars, they are only decorative, and you can solely perform scooter tricks on it, requiring you to ride it like a skateboard.…it received a mixed response!
The event kicked off at Milton Keynes Buszy, with participants later moving on to various street spots around Milton Keynes. Interestingly, the day wrapped up back at the Buszy.

What is the Buszy?
The Buszy Plaza is a plaza-style area made of concrete and marble, developed from an old bus station in 2003. It is situated opposite Milton Keynes Central Station.
At the heart of the plaza, there is a large, square manny pad surrounded by an array of marble blocks in different shapes and sizes, arranged perfectly for extended grind lines. Buszy Plaza is a must-visit for all street skaters and riders, featuring smooth surfaces and a wide variety of marble obstacles. There is ample potential for long, flowing lines, and the stair set is a major highlight. Even better, the entire area is covered, making it an ideal spot even on rainy days, though it tends to be quite busy.
