The Survival of the Sickest event series is unfolding over the course of a year, capturing the attention of skateboarding fans along the way. It kicked off at Baysixty6 in London, where the first event sparked excitement. The series then continued its momentum with a stop at Flo Skatepark in Nottingham for the second event, followed by the third event at Graystone Action Sports Center in Manchester, and the fourth at Campus Pool Skatepark in Bristol. The latest event occurred at Spit and Sawdust Skatepark in Cardiff. The next event in the Survival of the Sickest series is scheduled to happen at the renowned 4 Motion Skatepark in Darlington in October.

The event series was sponsored by brands such asFracture Skateboards, Triple8uk, Stance, Tech Deckand Aquapax. A special thanks to Rianne Evans for taking the mic. Rianne's enthusiasm and love for skateboarding enhanced the experience for both participants and spectators.

The Survival of the Sickest featured four categories: U12 Street Boys, U12 Street Girls, U16 Street Boys, and U16 Street Girls. There was no park skating at this event as the skatepark did not have a bowl.

Due to limited time and the number of skaters, the competition adopted a jam format, except for the finals. Jam formats can be quite hectic. To ensure safety and fair judging, the organizers implemented a system of heats. The use of heats effectively minimized the risk of accidents, providing a more controlled and secure competition. Additionally, the heats made the judging process more manageable, allowing for fair and accurate evaluations of each participant's performance.

The winners in the U12 Street Girls category wereLona Gordon in First, Yuki Takahashi-McGilvray in Second, and Dottie Morgan-Kilenburgin third place.
