On the 1st of November, we had the opportunity to unbox the eagerly awaited Blunt Envy Prodigy X series of Park and Street Stunt Scooters, along with Harvey and Sophie. Since that day, it has become one of the most sought-after scooters, with many eager to try out this latest addition to the Blunt Envy collection. So, what makes it stunt scooter so incredible? It continues from a high standard, taking over from the very popular Blunt Prodigy S9, featuring all the top-notch craftsmanship and cutting-edge design expected from a brand of this level.

Larger & Improved Decks

Both models feature a concave deck to assist with landings and stability. The Prodigy Street X is wider than its predecessor, measuring 5.5 inches in width and 21 inches in length, with an integrated head tube that is both lighter and stronger than previous designs, while maintaining its distinctive diamond cut-out. As a street scooter, it keeps its boxed ends while being overall wider, giving you the confidence to perform tricks and land smoothly.

The Prodigy Park X deck has had more material removed to reduce weight, yet thanks to a new manufacturing process, it is stronger than ever. Measuring 5 inches in width and 19.5 inches in length, including the new and enhanced tapered ends, this scooter is designed to push the limits of what’s possible. You’ll be able to achieve more air for more flair. The headtube angle has also been adjusted to 83.5 degrees, providing faster speeds and ease for bar spin tricks.

Bars and Grips

Everyone appreciates the Blunt Envy grips because they not only look fantastic on any build but are also very durable, even for the most extreme rider. The Street X Bar measures 600mm in width by 620mm in height, but more importantly, Blunt has managed to reduce the weight and material while making it one of their strongest bars yet, using steel chromoly for manufacturing.

The Park X is the same height at 620mm, but the width is slightly narrower at 560mm, allowing more space for those bar spins and whips.

Wheels & Forks

We have new Sector wheels measuring 26mm in width and 120mm in height. Being on the larger side, these wheels provide more speed and stability. As standard on both models, you’ll be getting the best.

  • Wheel Durometer (Hardness): 86A
  • Axle Diameter: 8mm
  • Bearings: ABEC-9

The signature Diamond Threadless IHC fork is back for the Park X with integrated compression, and the Diamond Threadless SCS for the Street X. You’ll notice that the brake has been redesigned with the Nylon Flex Fender, which is more durable and capable of handling more force.

Clamps

The Street X has received a major upgrade to its collar clamp, which has been slimmed down but is now a four-bolt instead of a 2-bolt like its predecessor. This provides confidence during landings, allowing for more impact while keeping the bar securely in place. The Park X uses the classic 2-Bolt Z Collar Clamp for reduced weight and improved maneuverability.
